Windy But Wonderful

Well, if today is to be nicer than yesterday, then this is going to be a great day!

Sure, yesterday was really windy and wet in the morning, but the end result was a wonderful day. Besides playing outside with the dog for a while (she didn’t want to spend much time out early in the day since the wet early-on), I went to the library for a while, and ran some errands.

I spent an hour and a half on the phone with the parental units and called a couple friends while enjoying the calmer parts of the day out on my patio. And, of course, it is a weekend, so I did some housework… Ah! What a lovely day yesterday was and the weatherman says that This is going to be the good day of the weekend!

Wherever you are today, I hope your day is lovely (and productive!).

Don Dude,
There is something I really like about that photo. Maybe it is the extreme placement of the horizontal plane, maybe it is the colors that look a bit un-natural, (but I am sure they are), maybe it sums up your day being "lovely (and productive)". Hmmmm, not sure, maybe it was the 6-pack of beers i had for dinner. Hmmm, not sure, but regardless, I am going to study it for a bit more and appreciate it.

Hey there, Michael!

Thanks for the comment! Coming from you, I take that as high praise! You know that I generally love the photos you take as well. (Though you're right… you may need to be drunk – or high – to enjoy my photos… Ah Well!)

As to the cloudscape you complimented me on; yeah, I noticed the sky as I was walking the dog. The colors of spring were just popping and the mottled appearance the sky took with the broken cloud cover made it seem inevitable that I frame it to be mostly sky in the shot. Originally I had wanted to get it from the opposite angle, and show the broken clouds over the mountains with the lush green in the foreground, but as you can see from the postcard of the month, the sky had changed before I got back home and grabbed the camera.

Thanks again, Mike, for the comment!

Have a great day!
