The trip home was much less eventful than the trip there,
but then, with no choice on road and having just been down the path a couple
hours ago, we had no real opportunity for adventure on the return trip.
There was a chance to chat and have a bit of a decompress
from our adventures before we got back to civilization. The Australian countryside
is really lovely and I always enjoy the chance at a road trip! (It is a special
treat not having to drive the entire way as well! – I have to find a way to get
a road-tripping partner back home!)
So, it was back to the hotel for a swim and a quick nap
before it was time to hit the pub.
