I am up early this morning in preparation for the drive home. Well, it is early by the standards of the laid-back lifestyle of what my cousin’s kids call “The Park.” I can see why. My folks’ house is so peaceful! It was well before five when I got up to shower and get ready for the drive.

Travelogue Minnesota: Hanging Out

Travelogue Minnesota: Well! That Was Fun!

It was no record performance, but then I wasn’t setting out to set one. I set out to have a nice drive to Minnesota to get to my parents’ place for a party and to enjoy my first long drive of the season and that is precisely what I did! Well, except for one small hiccup!

Could we have asked for better weather for driving? The forecast is for overcast the entire way. There is no real threat of rain, but the cloud cover should keep me from having to deal with sun glare. There are predictions of some wind through South Dakota, but with any luck, it will be a tailwind.
