You don't often pay much attention to the art on a hotel room wall, but this piece caught my eye.
At first glance, I was convinced it was a beautifully polished slice of petrified wood or maybe a massive agate, with its earthy tones and organic, flowing bands of color. But on closer inspection, it seems it isn't. I'm not entirely sure what it is—a photograph, a print, a digital creation—but it's certainly interesting. I find myself looking at it and just thinking, "I dunno... I kind of like this."
