What's a hotel stay without a little bit of drama? I had just turned in for the night, ready to call it a day, when the unmistakable blare of the fire alarm filled the halls.

So, along with all my fellow guests, I trooped out into the cool Florida night air to see what was going on. We were soon joined by the professionals from the Orange County Fire Rescue, who handled the situation with practiced efficiency. While we never got an official word, the rumor circulating through the crowd was that a small kitchen fire in the restaurant was the culprit. In the end, it was just a memorable, unplanned interruption to the evening.
