And So It Begins: The First Snowfall

Just a week after admiring our golden tree against a blue sky, autumn came to an abrupt and decisive end.
The first sign of the changing season: a light dusting of snow arrived overnight.

The first real snowstorm of the season rolled in, trading the gold for a blanket of white.

By the next morning, the snow had piled up on every available surface.

It started with a light dusting overnight and continued into the next day, covering the last of the fallen leaves and signaling a definitive shift in the seasons.

A classic late-October scene where autumn and winter collide.

After the snow clouds moved out, a blast of arctic air sent the temperatures plummeting into the single digits. Winter has arrived.

After the snow, the sky cleared and the temperature took a nosedive.

The official report confirmed the bitter cold, but at least the sun is on its way back.

Wherever you are today, I hope you're staying warm as the seasons turn.
