| Waking up under a different kind of canopy. |
After the excitement of a theme park, the agenda for the day was much more relaxed: celebrating my sister Mary's birthday with the family. The centerpiece of the celebration was an incredible birthday luncheon featuring Paella Valencia, brought in from the legendary Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. After the feast, the rest of the afternoon was spent doing what you're supposed to do on a warm Florida day—lounging, laughing, and cooling off in the pool. It was a simple, perfect day spent with family.
