After a busy morning in Orlando, I hit the road and headed west to St. Petersburg. The change of scenery was immediate and welcome, swapping inland academia for the salty air of the coast.
The evening's plan was one I had been looking forward to: dinner with my dear friend Janine. We've been friends for a very long time, and it’s always a gift when travel brings you back to people who know you so well. We found a perfect spot right at the start of the St. Petersburg Pier, and settled in for a wonderful meal and even better conversation. |
