A Question I Wasn't Expecting

 (...but should have been!)

"Do you have a headshot?"

This one feels a bit too formal, with the full suit and a stiped tie.

It’s a simple question, but one I certainly wasn't expecting. It has been a strange and exciting month. A few weeks ago, I received a call from my alma mater, the University of Central Florida, letting me know that I was being considered for an award. They mentioned the awards banquet would be in March down in Orlando, and after a bit of back and forth, I was informed that I had been selected!

So, when the university asked for a headshot for the program, it was something I probably should have anticipated, but hadn't. I quickly found a photographer and had some new portraits taken last week. It was an interesting experience being on the other side of the camera for a change.
