After the trip from Colorado, the night of the awards reception finally arrived. There's a special kind of excitement walking into an event like this, hosted at the beautiful Celeste Hotel in Orlando. But the moment it truly became real was when I held the official program.

Seeing the elegant cover and then opening it to find my name listed among the other honorees was a deeply humbling experience. I was selected for the Dean's Celestial Knight award. It's an incredible honor, and I'm filled with gratitude for my alma mater, the UCF College of Sciences, for this recognition.
Wherever you are today, I hope you have a chance to pause and appreciate the milestones on your journey.
