Bighorn, Birds, and Bluebird Skies on the Cog Railway

If you are looking for an unforgettable morning in Colorado, taking a trip up America's Mountain aboard the Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway is hard to beat.

Dramatic rock formations along the railway ascent.
The historic line winds through dramatic boulder fields and steep alpine valleys, offering vistas and high-altitude wildlife you simply cannot experience from the highway. From soaring birds gliding over the peaks to bighorn sheep resting in the tundra above tree line, it is a journey well worth every minute.

Catching high-altitude flight above the distant peaks.

Arriving at the summit platform via the cog railway.

A raven surveying the tundra from rocky crags.

Bighorn rams lounging along the high mountain slopes.

Two bighorn rams grazing above the tree line.

Wherever your travels take you today, may your tracks lead you to summits with clear skies and breathtaking horizons.
