Every photographer knows the feeling: that moment of deliberation at the camera store, weighing the pros and cons of an upgrade. That was me today at Mike's Camera in Wheat Ridge.
I was considering the new Nikkor Z 28-400mm lens and wanted to compare its reach to my trusty Z 24-200mm. The test was simple: step outside and shoot a distant landmark.

The iconic Applejack Liquor sign across the street was the perfect target. First, a shot with my old lens at its 200mm maximum. Then, a shot with the new lens at 400mm.

| And the comparison shot with the new 28-400mm lens. The extra reach speaks for itself. Decision made. |
The difference was... convincing. I think it's safe to say I'm about to walk out of the store with some new glass.
Wherever you are today, I hope you find a tool that brings your vision a little closer.
