A Sliver of Light at Dusk

The waning crescent moon setting at 6 AM,
just as the day prepares to begin.

Being awake before the sun has its own quiet rewards. This morning, the prize was watching the last, faint sliver of a crescent moon as it descended toward the horizon. It hung in the pre-dawn sky, a delicate arc of light making its final appearance before being washed out by the coming daylight. It’s a peaceful changing of the guard, a silent handover from night to day, and a beautiful, solitary way to begin.

Wherever you are today, may you find beauty in the quiet moments before the world wakes up.
