Well, it was a rainy and cold weekend for your humble journalist. (Bloggerist?)
The temperatures struggled to get out of the forties all weekend and failed miserably on both accounts! It was drizzling and foggy each morning and walking with Saga in her park was not a prolonged affair. It is a lot like being back in Thames Ditton. (...only the beer there is better - and they have pubs!)
The rains last week dumped nearly two inches of rain on us, this weekend, it was misty and drizzly and cold. And although it rained all weekend, we got only a quarter inch of water out of it. Which is fine by me, Bear Creek is flooding its banks and if it ever gets warm up in the foothills, warm enough to melt the snow pack, we are in for a deluge in Saga's park!
I did get a number of things done around the house, but nothing done outside. Oh well... another weekend, another chance.
With next weekend being the last I am at home before I leave for Dad and Flo's for their annual spring party, it looks like I will be leaving the planting of the garden until after Memorial Day!
Wherever you are today, I hope your weekend was conducive to the things you had on your agenda!
