Hangin' With The Family

Visiting with my family in Minnesota is certainly a change in pace. Instead of being up and about each morning before four, I sleep in 'til seven or eight. Instead of a quite dinner and a walk with the dog at the end of the evening, it is a few games of cards and conversation late into the night. It is great spending quality time with the folks! I do not get enough time to do that!

Of course, this afternoon, the dynamic changes as people start arriving for the big party this weekend. this afternoon, I drive into St. Cloud to get my niece and nephew from the airport there. My siblings start filtering in later in the the week.

Then, of course, the real work starts, the cooking and cleaning and entertaining.
