First Day Of Spring

Congratulations to my readers, Cathy and Dan who (in that order) came in First and Second in the "Spot The Error Contest."

As they both correctly pointed-out this week was the Vernal Equinox and NOT the Summer Solstice!

Owning-up, I could claim that I was being ironic, looking out over the frozen tundra of West Central Minnesota through a curtain of icicles. I could claim that I was testing to see if I still had readers.

But the truth is, that I grabbed the wrong record to schedule because I was trying to get my blog scheduled for the month before I headed-off to visit the folks.

It is a LOVELY day out today, the temperatures are going to be above freezing again, and the snow on the roof is continuing to slide slowly over the eaves. Who needs to go to the arctic to see the glaciers calving? In Minnesota, they only need to look up to their roof-line.

Wherever you are today, I hope that you will take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you!
