No, you're supposed to put on a floor show for your fish. The theory being they entertain you the rest of the year.
I don't have fish, so I did a one-man renditiion of "Old Yeller" for Saga. Of cours, my version had a happy ending; Old Yeller moves to Colorado where he is able to chase squirrels and prairie dogs to his heart's content and read and leave all the Pee-mail he cares to in the open-space parks.
